The Château de Fontainebleau is to undertake a three-year artistic residency with Thomas Hengelbrock and the Balthasar Neumann Ensemble and Choir, starting in 2021. The aim of this residency is to see the arts regain the place they have always occupied at the château throughout its long history, in order to revive its age-old tradition as a centre for artistic creation, in a renewed and contemporary form.
